Miss Jennifer's
Experience and Qualifications

Welcome to Lil' Sprouts Preschool!

My name is Miss Jennifer Gardner, and I am so excited to start teaching your little sprout to learn and grow in a fun, loving, safe, and exciting environment.

I received a diploma with highest honors in Early Childhood Education from Stratford Career Institute. I have had many trainings in safety, health, and curriculum related to Early Childhood. I have passed two criminal background checks that have enabled me to work in a teaching capacity. I have also had First Aid and CPR training.

I have experience working as a substitute aide for Head Start through Davis School District in Farmington, Utah. I was a teacher's aide at Head Start of Northeastern Nevada in Elko, Nevada. I held my own Summer preschool for the children of friends and relatives to help them prepare for preschool and kindergarten in Castle Dale, Utah. Some of my favorite memories of teaching are the 17 years I have spent as an assistant to Miss Sandra at Kiddie Korner Preschool in Orangeville, Utah.

I began babysitting at the age of 8. In high school I was a member of Future Homemaker's of America and also Future Business Leader's of America. I have served in many capacities as a teacher for children ranging in age from 18-months to 10-years-old for my wards In The Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints beginning when I was 18-years-old. I have also volunteered as a library aide specifically helping with preschool story hours.

I hope this gives you a little background as to my experience and qualifications to teach your child. If you are interested in enrolling your child in Lil' Sprouts Preschool, please keep reading.
